A 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization dedicated to preserving and interpreting the history of Cutchogue and New Suffolk, LI. It maintains the Cutchogue Village Green and Old Burying Ground as a living memorial to the original founders and all residents of Cutchogue and New Suffolk.
On December 3rd from 3:30 to 5:30, come to the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council’s Tree lighting on the Village Green (Main Road and Case’s lane) and celebrate Christmas through the ages. Celebrate by touring the Old House (Colonial Christmas), The Wickham house (Victorian Christmas) and the School House (Vintage 1900’s Christmas). Listen to Yuletide songs by the Mattituck-Cutchogue Highschool Select Chorus and enjoy holiday treats. Santa will be arriving sometime after the tree lighting
