On May 13 at 10am to 2 or 3 pm, we are having a conservation and treatment workshop at the Old Burial Ground in Cutchogue on the corner of the Main Road and Harbor Lane. Professional preservations Joel Snodgrass and Zach Studentroth will be running it and teaching how to clean, restore and repair the stones. In the second part of the day, after a provided lunch, you will be implementing what you learned. The event requires preregistration, so please email cutchgouehistory@gmail.com. by May 10. This event is geared toward high school students working to get their community service points for their diplomas, but all are welcome.
