A 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization dedicated to preserving and interpreting the history of Cutchogue and New Suffolk, LI. It maintains the Cutchogue Village Green and Old Burying Ground as a living memorial to the original founders and all residents of Cutchogue and New Suffolk.
Sunday, Feb. 11, 2:00pm- The Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council will host a talk on Early 19th Century Woven Coverlets of Long Island. Curator/Collections Manager of the Huntington Historical Society, and colonial textile historian Emily Werner will talk about the phenomenon of early woven coverlets of Long Island.
