A 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization dedicated to preserving and interpreting the history of Cutchogue and New Suffolk, LI. It maintains the Cutchogue Village Green and Old Burying Ground as a living memorial to the original founders and all residents of Cutchogue and New Suffolk.
The Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council is hosting a Plein Air Painting event Sept. 24th (rain date Sept. 25th)from 10am-3pm on the picturesque Village Green in Cutchogue. Artist and teacher Bill Graf (to learn about Bill go to https://www.williamgraffineart.com) has scoped out the perfect vista for you to paint. All the supplies you need for the class are included in the fee of $60. Bill is an experienced teacher as well as a gifted artist. After you have finished at 3:30pm there will be a free Wine and Cheese reception along with tours of the Old House. Invite your family and friends to see what you have done and enjoy a fall afternoon on the Green.
