A 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization dedicated to preserving and interpreting the history of Cutchogue and New Suffolk, LI. It maintains the Cutchogue Village Green and Old Burying Ground as a living memorial to the original founders and all residents of Cutchogue and New Suffolk.
On August 29 at 7pm The Cutchogue New Suffolk Historical Council is presenting a FREE summer concert series on the Village Green. This was the second concert in the series scheduled for 8/8 but was rained out and cancelled. It has been RESCHEDULED for this date. However, this concert will NOT BE the full orchestra, since it’s too difficult to organize so many people on short notice. This concert will be in memory of long-time members Alice and Dorville Finkle and will be a Chamber Ensemble on the east side of the Old House (no rain date.) Bring your chair and a picnic! For more information: cutchoguehistory@gmail.com. The program is partially funded by the Suffolk County Dept. of Economic Development and Planning and Legislator Stark.
