The Village Garage is a contemporary, timber-framed building constructed on the Village Green in 2010 to house a 1927 Ford Model T truck once used on the nearby Fleet farm. The truck was the generous gift of Parkham Wickham, a noted local antique car collector and descendant of the prominent Wickham family. Trucks like the Model T pick-up enabled farmers to carry their fresh produce and other marketable goods to the train depot, where they were transported quickly to urban markets. The garage is currently set up to tell a brief history of transportation and included a surrey and other historic objects that create a narrative for how people got around on the North Fork.
